Jim's Spot, 2003

pencil on paper, 8" x 10"

This is a view from a spot along a creek in Cataloochee Cove, North Carolina. My friend Dave dubbed the rock I was leaning against to draw this "Jim's Rock" since he had a rock we named after him, called "Dave's Rock." That was were he spent most of his time photographing reflections in the creek below it, and this is where I spent a great deal of my time.
