It was a cloudy day at Big Creek when I got some good ideas for nice mountain rocks and
water to paint. The trees overhead glowed backlit but didn't create any strong highlights or
shadows. The air seemed wet and the woods glowed green. I took a million pictures and found
a million images and in several were the rock in the middle of the stream, much like the tree
I have painted so many times standing alone in the middle of a field.
