Patch of Sun

Patch of Sun, 2007

oil pastel, 13" x 16"

I have many great photos and memories of my last walk down the trail along the upper Panther Creek in the mountains. I walked downstream all morning and upstream all afternoon that day and gathered lots of good things to work from. This was looking downstream during the afternoon with the sun overhead and the patches of sun created great compositions into the distance every step I took.
