Oil Pastels

I enjoy working in oil pastels, working outdoors in all of the places I find inspirational is a real joy. It brings out my drawing abilities, and helps me create a solid image while capturing the qualities of light I might miss in the studio process. With a great fearlessness I have come to respect that the oil pastels guide me back into a freer approach, while keeping the structure and texture of painting in my work.
